Today is LoveFood Thursday and we are delighted to present you
Duck and Waffle
It is the highest 24/7 restaurant in London and a lovely place for a romantic “together”.
Duck & Waffle is always open. First step – the lift. It’s glass, on the outside of the building and thrillingly fast up to the 40th floor.
We highly recommend to order the “legend duck and waffle”, the signature dish – a thick waffle, confit duck leg, and fried duck egg, served with a maple mustard sauce.
Duck & Waffle offers a playful take on traditional British cuisine with broad European influences emphasizing local, rustic, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Dishes are designed for sampling and sharing and are complemented by an iconoclastic cocktail experience served in a vibrant atmosphere.
Duck & Waffle offers a unique blend of breathtaking London views with an intimate, welcoming, critically-acclaimed dining experience.
Designed by award-winning architects CetraRuddy, the restaurant features include a 24 seat “inside out” bar, a bustling open kitchen and a private dining room that seats up to 18 people.
The décor is also playfully injected with modern influences: stainless steel and frosted glass are juxtaposed by old world materials including white marble, rustic metals, weathered wood and ceramic tiles.
Duck & Waffle is located on the 40th floor of 110 Bishopsgate in London.
Completed in March 2011 and stretching 230m into the skyline, 110 Bishopsgate is one of London’s tallest buildings. Highlights include:
- Guests are transported to Duck & Waffle from a private entrance on Bishopsgate via two express, double-glazed scenic lifts.
- Traveling at 5mps, each lift can accommodate 16 guests and takes just 40 seconds to reach the summit.
- 110 Bishopsgate provides 40,836 sq m of office space spread over 36 floors.
